Trinity Ventures led the round with participation from Pelion Ventures and Catamount Ventures. In addition to the funding, Larry Orr, general partner at Trinity Ventures, has been added to MasteryConnect’s board of directors.

Canvas leads $12.5 mln funding of CrowdFlower

CrowdFlower, a provider of a crowdsourcing service for data scientists, has raised $12.5 million in Series C financing led by Canvas Venture Fund. Bessemer Venture Partners and Trinity Ventures also participated in the round. The San Francisco-based company has now raised $28 million in total funding.As part of the latest round, Rebecca Lynn, general partner of Canvas, has joined the board.

According to an amended SEC filing, TubeMogul has priced its IPO of 6.25 million shares between $11 and $13 per share. VC-backed RadiumOne board fires CEO in wake of guilty plea to battery charges

RadiumOne‘s board of directors has fired Gurbaksh Chahal as CEO and chairman. The firm’s COO Bill Lonergan has been named as Chahal’s replacement. Although no reason for Chahal’s termination was given in the company’s statement on this development, according to various news reports, RadiumOne faced pressure to make this decision in light of Chahal’s recent guilty plea to battery and domestic violence charges against his girlfriend. Based in San Francisco, RadiumOne is a provider of media buying solutions. It is backed by Crosslink Capital, DFJ Espirit, Adams Street Partners and Trinity Ventures.
