Clearwater Capital Partners' third Asia-focused distressed fund closed at $900 million on June 26. The New York-based distressed-debt buyout firm increased its $850 million hard cap on Clearwater Capital Partners Fund III just prior to the close. The fund was started with a target of $400 million.
Clearwater Capital Partners, the New York-based, Asian focused private equity firm has reached final close on Clearwater Capital Partners Fund III with $900 million of committed capital. The fund was significantly oversubscribed, according to the group. Clearwater's investment strategy is focused on special situation investments and distressed or otherwise undervalued assets and securities located in Asia excluding Japan.
