Zenprise, a maker of mobile device management software, has added Steve Valenzuela as chief financial officer; Todd Terbeek as vice president of business development; and Howard Greenfield as vice president of worldwide sales. Valenzuela was previously CFO at Rainmaker Systems, a publicly traded software-as-a-service company. Terbeek was previously vice president of sales and marketing at Lockdown Networks. Prior to Zenprise, Greenfield served as vice president of sales for Wanova, a provider of desktop virtualization solutions. With the latest news, Zenprise also said it had relocated to Redwood City, Calif. Zenprise is backed by investors including Rembrandt Venture Partners, Ignition Partners, Bay Partners, Mayfield and Shasta Ventures.

Joining the Company are industry veterans Steve Valenzuela as CFO; Todd Terbeek as vice president of business development; and Howard Greenfield as vice president of worldwide sales. Valenzuela, Terbeek and Greenfield each have significant experience helping companies successfully manage rapid growth as they move from startups to public companies.
In addition, the Company announced it relocated its corporate headquarters from Fremont, California, to a larger location in Redwood City, California. Zenprise also announced it has opened offices in the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands to address the needs of its growing worldwide customer base.

A Seasoned Executive Team
Valenzuela joins Zenprise with more than 30 years in the global high tech market. Before joining Zenprise, he served as senior vice president and CFO at Rainmaker Systems, a NASDAQ-listed software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, where he held a leadership role in corporate expansion and development. Throughout his career as a CFO, Valenzuela has a proven track record of guiding technology companies, including LinkExchange, where he negotiated the sale of the company to Microsoft, and PlanetRx, which he led through an IPO.
At the center of Zenprise’s growth strategy is business development, where Terbeek’s 20-plus years of business development, sales and marketing experience will prove invaluable. He joins Zenprise after serving as vice president of sales and marketing at Lockdown Networks (subsequently acquired by McAfee), a provider of network access control and device policy enforcement software. Terbeek has worked with businesses ranging from start-ups to Fortune 200 companies, including Singlestep Technologies and Likewise Software.
Greenfield brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise software sales to the Zenprise executive team. Prior to Zenprise, he served as vice president of sales for Wanova, a provider of desktop virtualization solutions. At Wanova, Greenfield was responsible for the company’s global sales strategy, including direct and channel efforts, customer support and the expansion of Wanova’s sales organization. Before joining Wanova, Greenfield was vice president of sales at Witness Systems where he developed and managed the North American sales operations. Greenfield also served as vice president of sales with Mercury Interactive, growing his business unit from $3 million to $112 million during his tenure. In addition to Wanova, Witness Systems and Mercury, Greenfield has held key sales and operations roles at Seagate, EMS, MTI and NYNEX.
