Atlas Holdings portfolio company Soundview Paper Company has acquired Marcal Paper Mills, a paper company based in Elmwood Park, New Jersey. Atlas Holdings acquires middle-market companies in distress or facing complex issues, including bankruptcy reorganizations, restructurings and challenging corporate divestitures.
Atlas Holdings LLC today announced the acquisition of Marcal Paper Mills, LLC, a paper company based in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, by Soundview Paper Company LLC, an Atlas entity. With the acquisition of Marcal, Soundview Paper Company is positioned to be a leading world class manufacturer and distributor of finished paper products under the Marcal® Brand and for private label customers including tissue, towel and napkin products.
