Jamison Made Partner At BlueRun; Tannenbaum Named Principal

Jay Jamison was named partner at BlueRun Ventures, the firm said.

Jamison joined the Menlo Park firm as a venture partner in November 2010 and was placed in his new role earlier this year. He continues to scout for investments in mobile and consumer Internet.

His companies include AppCentral, AppRedeem and Foodspotting.

Prior to BlueRun, Jamison was a senior director at Microsoft Japan’s Windows Business Group and founded Moonshoot, an online English language education service for children.

BlueRun also brought on Jeff Tannenbaum as a principal, the firm said. Before joining BlueRun, he founded PhotoCrank, a service that adds graphics and text to photos.
