Mxi Technologies, a provider of aviation maintenance management software, has appointed a new board of directors. As part of the acquisition of the company by Moelis Capital Partners, Kurt Larsen, Greg Share, and Jim Johnston of MCP, will replace the existing board members.
Mxi® Technologies, the leader in aviation maintenance management software, announced today the appointment of a new Board of Directors. As part of the acquisition of the Company by Moelis Capital Partners (MCP), Dave Seibel, President and CEO of Mxi Technologies and Chairman of the Board, now welcomes Kurt Larsen, Greg Share, and Jim Johnston of MCP, who replace the existing board members. This new line-up rounds out the current executive leadership team in support of the Company’s plans for market growth and strategic development.
Kurt Larsen is a Managing Partner of Moelis Capital Partners and focuses primarily on the industrial services and consumer sectors. Mr. Larsen has over 21 years of experience investing in and growing mid-market organizations across a variety of industries. Prior to joining Moelis Capital Partners, Mr. Larson was a Managing Director at Cerberus Capital Management, L.P., and founder and managing partner of his own private equity firm. He currently serves on the board of directors of CyberCore Technologies, Hawthorne Global Aviation Services, Quest Specialty Chemicals, RecoverCare, LLC, Uintah Engineering & Land Surveying and Flightstar Aircraft Services.
Greg Share is a Partner of Moelis Capital Partners and focuses on the business services sector. With more than 13 years of experience, Mr. Share joins the Mxi Technologies’ Board of Directors with an expansive background in the private equity industry. Prior to joining Moelis Capital Partners, Mr. Share was Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group and Vice President at Madison Dearborn Partners. He currently serves on the board of directors of Kinsale Capital Group and Opportunity Bank.
Jim Johnston is a Principal of Moelis Capital Partners with a focus on the industrial services sector. Prior to joining Moelis Capital Partners, Mr. Johnston served as Vice President in the Financial Sponsors Group at Goldman Sachs, and as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy. He currently serves on the board of directors of CyberCore Technologies, Hawthorne Global Aviation Services, Quest Specialty Chemicals and Flightstar Aircraft Services.
