Ben Fu has joined Next World Capital as a partner in its San Francisco office. Ben will work across the firm’s strategy of expansion stage venture capital investing in the enterprise software, mobile and consumer Internet sectors. He was mostly recently a principal with Scale Venture Partners.
Next World Capital (NWC) is pleased to announce that Ben Fu has joined the firm as a Partner in its San Francisco office. Ben will work across the firm’s strategy of expansion stage venture capital investing in the enterprise software, mobile and consumer internet sectors.
Ben was mostly recently a Principal with Scale Venture Partners. Prior to his six years in venture capital, he was a Senior Sales Engineer at Symantec and IMlogic, and worked in technical sales roles at Akamai. At Scale Venture Partners, Ben originated the investments in Box and uTest and worked closely with HubSpot, BrightRoll, and Jaspersoft. He holds an MEng and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
