Mayfield Begins Raising New Indian Fund

Mayfield Fund has begun raising a second Indian fund, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The filing does not give a target size for the new fund, Mayfield India II, but says no capital has yet been committed. The filing lists four partners, including Navin Chaddha, Couldiplall Lala, Zoubeir Khatib and COO James Beck from the Mayfield operations team. Mayfield raise its $111 million Mayfield India I in 2008, according to data from Thomson Reuters, publisher of this blog. Mayfield’s most recent fund is its Mayfield XIV, a $365 million early stage fund raised in 2012.
