Wealth Managemen , at subsidiary of investment bank Evercore, has hired Emmanuel M. Durand as a managing director. Durand, who is based in New York, most recently headed mergers and acquisitions for the Americas at Rabobank.
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Evercore (NYSE:EVR) announced today that Emmanuel M. Durand has joined the firm’s Investment Banking business as a Managing Director based in New York. Mr. Durand will focus on providing strategic and financial advice to companies in the consumer sector.
Mr. Durand was most recently Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for the Americas at Rabobank, Director of RSI, Inc., member of Rabobank North America Advisory Board and member of the Executive Committee of the Rabobank Rothschild Cooperation. Prior to joining Rabobank 13 years ago, Mr. Durand was Head of the Financial Institutions Group for Latin America at Salomon Smith Barney. He started his investment banking career at Bankers Trust and BT Wolfensohn where he was responsible for M&A transactions in Argentina, Chile and Peru. Mr. Durand has more than 20 years of experience advising corporations including transactions for Bel Group, BBVA, Brown Forman, CSM, Fresh Del Monte, Kellogg, Rhone Poulenc, Saputo, Schreiber and Tata.
