Ifbyphone said Friday that it has closed an additional $9 million in funding, bringing the tally to over $30 million. The round was led by River Cities Capital Funds with participation from Apex Venture Partners, Origin Ventures, I2A and SSM Partners. Also, the company has named Steve Dimmitt as vice president of customer experience and Josh Mallamud as vice president of strategic partnerships. Based in Chicago, Ifbyphone is a marketing automation provider.

According to an ATG/Oracle survey, 67% of online shoppers will call a business directly for any purchase greater than $100.
