Lisa Suennen to leave Psilos Group

Lisa Suennen said she has decided to leave Psilos Group after 15 years with the firm.

Suennen, formerly a partner at the healthcare-focused firm, headed its West Coast office in Corte Madera, Calif., since the firm’s founding in 1998. She said she will serve as a consultant to venture firms, startups and corporations as she evaluates new opportunities. She described her parting with Psilos as amicable.

Suennen is presently listed on the Psilos website as a special advisor to the firm. She will remain on the board of portfolio company AngioScore, though her other board seats are being transitioned to other Psilos partners.

Suennen, a past contributor to pehub and affiliate site VCJ, is an avid blogger on her site Venture Valkyrie and tweets at @VentureValkryie.
