This week there are analyst, associate and senior portfolio manager positions up for grabs at The Blackstone Group, Goldman Sachs, San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System and Ziegler.
Blackstone is recruiting for a junior research analyst based in the New York area. According to the job description on the firm’s website, the research analyst will assist on a range of projects including acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, recapitalizations, joint ventures and leveraged buyouts.
Goldman Sachs is on the lookout for a New York-based associate-intermediate vice president. According to the job description on the Goldman Sachs website, the successful candidate will perform strategic asset allocation analysis for institutional and private wealth clients as well as perform research on various asset classes for long investment horizons. The position also will involve representing the investment strategy group in client meetings and conference calls to assist clients in asset allocation decisions.
The San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System is hiring for a senior portfolio manager. The senior portfolio manager will have responsibility for all functions and activities for manager selection and oversight of public equity, alternative equity or hedge fund managers and will assist the chief investment officer in overall asset allocation for the plan. Finally, specialty investment bank Ziegler is seeking to hire an associate based in the greater Milwaukee area to support the firm’s private equity investment activities.
