AIB Start-up Accelerator Fund invests in Sláinte Healthcare

Sláinte Healthcare has received an undisclosed investment from AIB Start-up Accelerator Fund, managed by ACT Venture Capital. Based in Dublin, Sláinte Healthcare is a healthcare tech firm.


The AIB Start-up Accelerator Fund, managed by ACT Venture Capital, has completed an investment in Sláinte Healthcare, an Irish healthcare technology business. The investment will support the continued rapid international expansion of the company as it develops its business across Europe and Asia. It is on track to deliver up to 80 new jobs in 2014, building on the 40 new hires already undertaken in 2013.
Founded in 2006, Sláinte Healthcare is Europe’s fastest growing Healthcare technology company (Deloitte Fast 500 2013) and its founder and CEO, Andrew Murphy, is a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014.
Andrew Murphy, Founder and CEO of Sláinte said: “Earlier this year we announced an ambitious plan to meet the international demand for our products, this investment from the AIB Start-up Accelerator Fund assists us in executing that plan.”
