Other Machine Co, a maker of desktop manufacturing machines, has closed an oversubscribed $3 million Series A from a group of angels and VCs. Investors include Core Ventures Group, Slow Ventures and Allegro Venture Partners among others.

desktop manufacturing machines and “what you see is what you make” (WYSIWYM) software
applications, is on its way to Washington DC today for the first ever White House Maker Faire.
Other Machine Co. (OMC) also announced the closing of an oversubscribed
$3 million Series A
from a group of seasoned angels and VCs. The investors, who bring a wealth of experience to
OMC, include Broadway Angels’ Sonja Perkins and Joanna Drake Earl; Jonathan Bachrach
(Berkeley, EECS); CrunchFund; Tim O’Reilly (Founder & CEO, O’Reilly Media); Chris Anderson
(CEO, 3DRobotics); Tony Hseih’s VegasTechFund; Core Ventures Group; Dave Morin’s Slow
Ventures; Allegro Venture Partners; and Carl Bass (CEO, Autodesk).
