LVP seed fund targets European gaming


London Venture Partners has unveiled LVP Seed Fund I. The new vehicle will build a portfolio of digital game startups in Europe. The fund size was not disclosed.

The seed fund is backed by NEXON, Wargaming and Don Mattrick, CEO of Zynga.

Led by general partners David Gardner, David Lau-Kee, and Paul Heydon, the fund will target initial investments of $50,000 to $500,000. The LVP team has had success in the past with seed investments in game companies including Supercell, NaturalMotion and Unity.

Other investments by the LVP team include Omnidrone, Boomlagoon, PlayJam, Grey Area Labs, Unity Technologies, PlayRaven and Brainbow.
