The round was led by Crest Capital Ventures of Houston, TX, with participation from existing investors Claremont Creek Ventures and Intel Capital. The additional funding will help SmartZip accelerate product development and aggressively expand sales and marketing to strengthen its position as the leader in analytics-powered marketing automation solutions that help businesses more efficiently acquire new customers. While SmartZip has gained rapid traction in the real estate industry with its SmartTargeting offering, it has plans to expand its technology to other industries looking to optimize marketing spend and grow revenue.
