Mike Dauber, a principal at Battery Ventures, has joined Amplify Partners as general partner, he told peHUB.
At Amplify, which closed a $49.1 million fund earlier this year, Dauber will team up again with former Battery colleague Sunil Dhaliwal. Dhaliwal founded Amplify to back early-stage IT infrastructure startups. Amplify portfolio companies include the big data company BlueData Software; Continuuity, which helps Java developers deploy big data applications; Fastly, a content distribution and acceleration network.
Dauber, who will focus on enterprise tech, was named a principal at Battery in early 2013, when the firm closed two new funds totaling $900 million.
