Insight Equity said Wednesday that it hired five new team members, including a new investor relations head, and made two internal promotions.
Chris White joined Insight Equity in August as director of IR, according to a statement. White will lead Insight Equity’s global fundraising, investor relations and consultant relations efforts, the firm said.
White replaces Felicia Hardwick, who left Insight Equity in June after working as director of IR since January 2013, peHUB has reported. Hardwick left the PE firm to spend time with her children, peHUB said.
Dan Davidson also returned to Insight Equity as a VP, while Lauren Thomson, Jeffrey Parent and Blake Boardman have joined the Southlake, Texas, PE firm as associates. Insight Equity said Brecht Allred was promoted to director of marketing and resources, while Lark Rayburn was named private equity coordinator.
Insight Equity targets mid-market companies in manufacturing and distribution, as well as energy services. The firm typically invests $25 million to $75 million of equity per deal. The PE firm is currently fundraising for its latest pool. Insight Equity III LP is seeking $750 million and has collected about $400 million, peHUB reported in April.
Insight Equity declined to comment beyond its statement.
