TINYpulse, which provides employee engagement software, has raised $3.5 million in Series A funding. Baseline Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included Harrison Metal.
Seattle, WA – December 29th, 2014– TINYpulse, a leading provider of employee engagement software today announced that it has closed $3.5 million in Series A funding to accelerate the company’s growth and customer momentum. Baseline Ventures led the investment. Also participating in the round were Harrison Metal and other strategic investors. TINYpulse is used by over 500 organizations including HubSpot, Deloitte, StitchFix, and Converse to help engage employees through an innovative platform providing continuous feedback loops, peer recognition, and comparative analytics. The company offers a free trial for its software as a service platform targeted at leaders who are committed to listening, change, and action.
TINYpulse was founded in 2012 by David Niu, who also co-founded BuddyTV and Net Conversions (sold to aQuantive) and is the author of “Careercation: Trading Briefcase for Suitcase”. “Until today, I funded the company with my own money so that I could focus on our customer needs. Now that we have proven that TINYpulse works, we will be using the funding to build out our platform and invite more companies and leaders to join our mission to create a better workplace,” says founder and CEO David Niu.
