Venture51 has raised $2.3 million for a new fund called Venture51 Game Fund, according to a SEC Form D filing. The document doesn’t indicate the fund’s strategy, but it specifies that it has 25 backers.
Brandon Zeuner and Ryan Swager are managing partners of the early-stage venture firm, which is based in Encinitas, Calif.
The firm is currently investing from a $25 million second fund that it raised in mid-2013, according to Crunchbase. The firm specializes in post-seed investments. Portfolio companies include Codewars, fitmob, Getaround, Kiip, Life360 and Urban Remedy, among others, according to its website.
