Pypestream, a real-time messaging app for B2C communication, has raised $2 million in seed funding. The company’s investors include Trevor Harris, international business professor at Columbia University and Scott Henderson, former CFO of The Financial Times.
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Pypestream today announced the closing of $2 million in seed round funding. The funding will be used to accelerate sales and the continued development of the company’s proprietary technology that securely connects brands with their customers using mobile messaging.
Pypestream provides an customer experience similar to messaging with a friend as opposed to traditional customer service channels, such as call centers or email, while providing enterprise grade business features. Pypestream is currently running a beta program with selected partners and will be extending the opportunity for more companies to sign up for the platform when it is publicly launched. Companies can also reserve their name on Pypestream now.
