RTL Group led the round with participation from other investors that included Anthem Venture Partners, Simon Equity Partners, Third Wave Capital, Wavemaker Partners, ZenShin Capital and Startup Capital Ventures.
Santa Monica, Calif.– November 11, 2015 – VideoAmp, a screen optimization platform for the TV and video ecosystem, today announced a $15M Series A funding round led by RTL Group, the leading European entertainment network. This investment brings VideoAmp’s total funding to $17.2M and will help the company to rapidly accelerate development and adoption of its unique platform.

VideoAmp’s technology bridges the data divide between TV, digital, and OTT platforms. This enables the seamless planning, packaging and optimization of cross-screen audiences for the benefit of both advertisers and media owners. The company utilizes its own machine-learning platform and programmatic tools that enables the ability to find precise audiences across all video screens, including linear TV. The technology is delivered via application programming interfaces (APIs) that also allows for customers and partners to develop on top of.
