TSG sells ThinkThin to Glanbia for $217 mln


TSG Consumer Partners has closed its previously announced sale of Los Angeles-based ThinkThin, a nutrition bar company, to Glanbia plc. The price of the transaction is $217 million.

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Lizanne Falsetto, founder of leading nutrition bar company, thinkThin, announced today the completion of the brand’s sale to global performance nutrition and ingredients group, Glanbia plc for $217 million USD. This sale culminates Falsetto’s 20-year journey from fashion runways, to testing recipes in her home kitchen, to building a nationally known, household brand.
