Insightly raises $25 mln from Scott Bommer, Emergence, Cloud Apps, Sozo


Insightly said it raised $25 million of Series C financing in a deal led by SAB Capital founder Scott Bommer and joined by existing investors Emergence Capital Partners, Cloud Apps Capital Partners and Sozo Ventures. Insightly previously raised $16 million, bringing its total capital raised to more than $40 million. This funding will be used to accelerate growth and build out a direct sales team.

Insightly Closes $25 Million Series C Round to Extend CRM Leadership

Appoints vice president of sales to lead customer growth and continues to
advance product

SAN FRANCISCO – April 19, 2016 – Insightly, a leading online customer relationship management application (CRM) for small and growing businesses, today announced it has raised $25 million in a Series C Financing. The round was led by Scott Bommer, venture investor and founder of SAB Capital, with participation from existing investors Emergence Capital Partners, Cloud Apps Capital Partners and Sozo Ventures. Insightly previously raised  $16 million, bringing the total capital raised to more than $40 million. This new funding will be used to further accelerate the growth of Insightly into larger businesses and build out its direct sales team.
