Augmented and virtual reality startup uSens raises $20 mln Series A


San Jose, California-based uSens Inc, a provider of hand-and-head tracking technologies for augmented reality and virtual reality, announced it has raised a $20 million Series A round of funding led by Fosun Kinzon Capital. Other investors in the round include returning backer Maison Capital, as well as new investors Great Capital, Fortune Capital, Oriental Fortune Capital, iResearch Capital and Chord CapitalARM Innovation Ecosystem Accelerator also participated in this round. The company has now raised more than $26 million, including a $5.5 million infusion in September 2015. The company says Fosun Kinzon Capital will have a seat on its board.

The company’s technology is being demonstrated live this week at the Augmented World Expo (AWE).
