Geritrex, a maker of over-the-counter drugs, has named John Francis as executive vice president of sales and marketing. Francis is a former vice president of OTC sales and marketing for North America for Taro Pharmaceutical Industries. Geritrex is backed by BelHealth Investment Partners.
New York, New York – November 1, 2016 – Geritrex (“Geritrex” or the “Company”), a leading manufacturer and distributor of topical, generic, over-the-counter (OTC) products and pharmaceuticals and a BelHealth Investment Partners (“BelHealth”) portfolio company, announced that John Francis has been hired as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Francis has extensive experience in the OTC pharmaceuticals space and will focus on expanding the Company’s current institutional channel and driving results in new sales channels, including retail private label.
Mr. Francis has over 18 years of successful leadership, strategy development and execution, business development, and sales and marketing experience in the consumer healthcare industry. Previously, Mr. Francis served as Vice President of OTC Sales and Marketing, North America for Taro Pharmaceutical Industries. Prior to his role with Taro, Mr. Francis worked for PL Developments, privately-owned, nationally recognized, private label, OTC manufacturer and distributor for approximately nine years, ultimately assuming the position of Chief Commercial Officer.
