Blockchain Capital said it will raise its third fund – Blockchain Capital III – from limited partners and through an additional fund offered via digital tokens, called the BCAP.
The parallel offering of Ethereum-based tokens will represent a fractional ownership in a fund called Blockchain Capital III Digital Liquid Venture Fund, LP., according to a press release. The token will be tradable.
The firm invests in blockchain-enabled companies, and its current portfolio consists of 43 investments, including in BitFury, Coinbase and Xapo.
The offering will be book run by the Argon Group. Details of the offering will be disclosed a memorandum published on April 3.
