Iron Pillar to raise a $150 mln venture capital fund


Iron Pillar has set out to raise a $150 million venture capital fund, according to a filing with the SEC.

The firm has raised $3.5 million so far, according to the filing.

Iron Pillar will make growth investments in India and has a presence in Palo Alto, Shanghai, Singapore and the Mauritius. It is run by Jolly Mohanjit, formerly of DFJ; Anand Presanna, previously with Morgan Creek Capital Management and Sequoia Capital in India; and Ashish Shah.
