Scopus Ventures has set out to raise a $25 million maiden venture fund, according to a filing with the SEC.
The Los Angeles firm is led by Managing Partner Bahram Nour-Omid, formerly with the VC firm Shelter Capital Partners and a co-founder of Scopus Technology. He was a seed investor in VMWare. Also listed as managing partners are Eran Gilad, founding CEO of Tracx, and Robert Mai, previously at Klingenstein Fields Wealth Advisors.
