Avi Networks has acquired San Francisco-based StacksWare, a provider of SaaS cloud management solutions. No financial terms were disclosed. According to Crunchbase, StacksWare was backed by Greylock Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

As enterprises expand their use of cloud technologies, there is a strong desire to consume network services such as elastic load balancing, application analytics, and web application firewalls in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) deployment model. StacksWare, a pioneer in SaaS cloud management solutions, will lead the continued development of Avi Networks’ SaaS and managed services offerings.
