AUSTIN, Texas – March 15, 2018 – Acacia Partners, an Austin, Texas‐based investment firm, recently made a minority, growth equity investment in Red River, a technology transformation company that serves clients with the capabilities and technology required to solve critical data center, security, analytics, cloud, networking, collaboration and mobility challenges. Acacia’s investment will help Red River continue its significant organic growth and accelerate the acquisition program the company started two years ago.
Acacia’s partners Brad Johl, Jeff Sokol and Greg Maletsky noted, “Red River’s current owners and management team are ideal partners for Acacia. In addition to providing first‐class service to its clients, the company’s culture clearly prioritizes strong relationships with all its stakeholders, including team members, partners and the community. We particularly admire the work of the Red River Charitable Foundation and we look forward to expanding its activities as the company continues to grow. We are honored that Red River selected us as its financial partner and we are excited to see what we can accomplish together.”
“Given Red River’s growth prospects and unique culture, we were very careful to select the right partner,” said Rick Bolduc, Executive Chairman, Board of Directors at Red River. “Acacia differentiated itself with its incredible track record, trust and alignment with our management team and understanding of our business model and vision. We are confident that our collective expertise will enable Red River’s continued growth while maintaining the culture that has been the backbone of our success.”
Red River’s CEO, Jeff Sessions, added, “This investment gives us the financial support to take advantage of current market opportunities, continue to invest in our people and accelerate our growth in new and exciting ways.
