Cobalt Robotics takes in $13 mln Series A

Palo Alto, California-based Cobalt Robotics, a builder of indoor robots for security, has raised $13 million in Series A financing, according to a blog post on its site. Sequoia led the round with participation from other investors that included Founders Fund, Storm Ventures, Promus Ventures and Bloomberg Beta. In conjunction with the funding, Alfred Lin, a partner at Sequoia, has joined Cobalt’s board of directors.
