Ex-Kleiner Perkins partners raise $298.2 mln for G2VP: Updated


Four ex-Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers partners have raised $298.2 million for their new firm G2VP, according to a filing with the SEC.

Brook Porter, David Mount, Benjamin Kortlang and Daniel Oros all invested at KP’s Green Growth Fund. Their new fund will invest in sectors and technologies such as cloud computing, machine learning, computer vision and mobility.

A spokesperson for the firm said a final close on the fund has not taken place.
