Monument MicroCap Partners is seeking a senior associate. Duties include sourcing investments, underwriting and conducting due diligence on investment opportunities and building and maintaining complex LBO models. Candidates should have two to four years of private equity and/or investment banking experience, excellent communication and presentation skills, an ability to build and manipulate complex financial LBO models and a genuine willingness to learn and be an early contributor to a team-oriented entrepreneurial firm. The MacArthur Foundation is looking to hire a private equity analyst. The analyst will assist in many facets of the investment process. Duties include the evaluation of new and existing investment managers, monitoring the performance of existing investments and assisting with the preparation of investment memos and presentation. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree; coursework in finance or accounting is preferred. He or she should have a strong interest in portfolio management and institutional investment issues. Analysts will serve an initial two-year term with the possibility for extension. The start date is flexible (Summer 2019 or earlier). The position is in Chicago.
IBM is on the hunt for a pension investment analyst. Responsibilities include achieving portfolio risk and return objectives through effective manager selection and portfolio construction and recommending and implementing new strategies and presenting to senior executives. Applicants should have two to five years’ experience conducting investment due diligence on asset managers. Also, he or she should have experience analyzing and attributing investment manager performance as well as in capital markets. A masters degree in finance or economics is preferred. The position is in Armonk, New York.
