Goldman Sachs’ Alternative Investments & Manager Selection Group is looking to hire an associate for its private investments team. The hire will be involved in the primary fund investment process, which includes sourcing, conducting due diligence and evaluating private equity managers for consideration as part of discretionary investment vehicles and/or separate account mandates. Also, he or she will conduct qualitative and quantitative research around private equity strategies that inform portfolio construction perspectives and asset allocation recommendations. Candidates should have a minimum of three plus years of experience in private equity/corporate finance/M&A/leverage finance. The position is in New York.

Cerberus Capital Management is seeking a due diligence/M&A specialist. The hire will work on a variety of domestic and international deals related to strategic/commercial/operational due diligence and assist the firm’s operational private equity investment desk with evaluating potential acquisition targets. Also, he or she will spearhead the compilation and presentation of the due diligence analysis, as well as assisting the investment team in evaluating the impact of the analysis on their model. Candidates should have four to eight plus years of overall work experience in M&A or M&A pre-deal service delivery at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, private equity firm, investment bank or a world-class organization. Applicants should have an MBA degree from a top-tier business school, preferably in general management, finance, private equity/venture capital and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in business administration, economics, finance or a related field. The position is in New York.

CPP Investment Board is on the hunt for an analyst for its investment operations. Duties include partnering with colleagues from the investment departments, structuring, tax and treasury to assist in investment closings through documentation review, system setups, transaction entries and settlements. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in finance, commerce, economics or other related discipline and a minimum of two years of relevant work experience. Professional designations such as a CBV, CFA, and CPA are considered an asset. The position is in Toronto.

Antares Capital is searching for an analyst/associate for its credit team. The hire will help lead deal teams in the underwriting, structuring and documentation of middle-market cash flow loans for private equity-backed transactions, including leveraged buyouts, dividend recapitalizations, add-on acquisitions and refinancings. He or she will conduct financial and business due diligence including company & industry research, cash flow modeling, financial analysis and so forth to determine the creditworthiness of prospective borrowers. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with one to three years’ related experience including, but not limited to: finance, accounting or credit. The position is in New York.
