Goldman Sachs’ Alternative Investments & Manager Selection Group is searching for a private equity vice president. The hire will conduct due diligence and evaluate secondary private equity transactions, co-investment opportunities and private equity managers for consideration as part of fund-of-funds and or separate account mandates. Also, he or she will present investment opportunities to the investment committee through written and oral presentations and conduct required follow-up. Candidates should have a minimum of five plus years of experience in corporate finance/M&A/leverage finance/private equity/other private or public markets investing. The position is in New York.

The City of New York’s Bureau of Asset Management is looking to hire a senior investment officer, private equity. He or she will work with the head of private equity on the construction, management and strategic planning for the systems’ private equity portfolio; identify, review and evaluate prospective investment opportunities; and review deal documents, negotiate terms and assist with the execution of investments through coordination with the general counsel’s office, consultants and members of the private equity team. Candidates should have a master’s degree in business administration, economics, finance or a closely related field and four or more years of full-time satisfactory experience in a financial services organization.

Turn/River Capital is on the hunt for a private equity associate. The hire will analyze companies during the due diligence process, prepare investment memos and assist the senior partner in managing the deal-making process. Also, he or she will join the board of portfolio companies and work with them post-transaction to improve operational efficiencies and sales and marketing workflows. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution with top grades and one to three years of investment banking experience (ideally within a software/technology group). The position is in San Francisco.

Morgan Stanley’s private equity platform Expansion Capital is searching for a private credit analyst/associate for its team. Analysts/associates have the opportunity to source and evaluate new credit investment opportunities, conduct in-depth sector research, independently construct company financial forecast and valuation models and perform valuation, absolute return and relative value assessments on credit opportunities. Candidates should have a superior academic and performance record; two to five years of experience from a leading credit fund, financial services firm, private equity fund or investment bank; and a strong knowledge of credit, accounting and financial statement analysis. The position is in New York.
