Carlyle nears $5 bln buy of StandardAero Aviation: Wall Street Journal


Carlyle Group is near a deal to buy StandardAero Aviation Holdings Inc for about $5 billion, the Wall Street Journal is reporting. Final bids were due Sunday night. Carlyle beat a rival offer from Blackstone Group for StandardAero, which operates repair stations for Boeing Co and Airbus SE, the story said.
