Chowbus dines on $4 mln in funding led by Greycroft, FJ Labs


Chicago-based Chowbus, which operates a marketplace for diners to explore and order high-quality authentic food, has raised a $4 million round of funding led by Greycroft Partners and FJ Labs, with additional investment from Hyde Park Angels, Fika Ventures and individual investors. The company was founded in 2015 by CEO Linxin Wen and CTO Suyu Zhang. And its team includes former senior staff members from GrubHub and Centro. The Chowbus app is live in Chicago, Boston, New York City, Philadelphia and Champaign, Illinois.
