Press Release

Longpoint Realty Partners, which was formed in 2015, has closed on its inaugural real estate private equity fund, Longpoint Realty Fund I, LP with $280 million in equity commitments.

The Fund received broad support from a diverse mix of U.S. and Europe-based sovereign wealth funds, pensions, asset managers, endowments, foundations, family offices and consultants who understand the nexus that exists between the retail and industrial sectors, according to Longpoint Managing Partner Dwight Angelini.

“We focus on the convergence between the retail and industrial sectors which is generating attractive investment opportunities,” said Angelini. “Our understanding of the fundamental changes in consumer behavior and its impact on an evolving supply chain gives us insight into our tenants’ practices and the property-level specifications required to grow NOI and asset value.”

Through its value-add operating platform, Longpoint invests primarily in underperforming industrial properties and neighborhood shopping centers in select US markets. Longpoint Realty Fund I, LP is approximately 25 percent invested with a portfolio that includes 15 assets totaling approximately 1.8 million square feet.

The management team at Longpoint, which includes former TA Associates Realty executives Dwight Angelini, Nilesh Bubna, Reid Parker and Robert Provost, has invested together for more than 10 years through multiple market cycles.

“Longpoint represents a compelling combination of real estate investing and operating experience, along with a unique perspective on how changes in consumer behavior impact industrial and retail assets. Atlantic-Pacific is pleased to have partnered with Longpoint and wishes the team and its investors continued success,” commented Raed Elkhatib, President and CEO of Atlantic-Pacific Capital.

Longpoint Realty Fund I, LP is managed by Longpoint Realty Partners, an SEC Registered Investment Advisor. Atlantic-Pacific Capital served as the exclusive global placement agent for the Fund.
