EQT has closed its fourth infrastructure fund at a hard cap of 9 billion euros (about $10 billion). EQT Infrastructure IV launched last September.
The fund’s investors include pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, endowments, foundations and family offices. The fund, which will make investments between 100 million euros and 600 million euros,will focus mostly on the following sectors: energy, transportation and logistics, telecom, environmental and social infrastructure.
In February 2017, EQT closed its previous infrastructure fund at hard cap of 4 billion euros. No performance data was available on the fund.
As a result of the fund-closing, EQT is now managing about 14 billion euros in infrastructure assets.
