Industry Ventures receives minority investment from Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Petershill Program

Industry Ventures said it received a minority investment from the Goldman Sachs Asset Management Petershill program. The size of the investment was not disclosed.

The investment provides Industry Ventures with a balance-sheet vehicle to increase investments in current and future funds, the firm said. This includes expanding capital commitments to the firm’s hybrid technology buyout, hybrid venture-capital fund of funds, and direct-fund and next-generation secondary funds strategies.

Hans Swildens, CEO of Industry Ventures, said in a statement the investment follows a more than a decade long relationship with Goldman Sachs Asset Management as an LP and co-investor.

The investment by the Petershill program is a passive, non-voting stake with no impact on the day-to-day management and operations, or on the investment decision-making process.
