Serena Williams, a tennis star, revealed that in 2014 she launched a venture firm called Serena Ventures. The fund invests in early-stage companies that “embrace diverse leadership, individual empowerment, creativity and opportunity.”
According to Serena Ventures website, the fund is managed by Alison Rapaport, who was previously with J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
