Montefiore-Backed Game Distributer Adds On

Asmodee Group, a Paris-based distributer and publisher of collectible cards and games, has made three strategic acquisitions: Hodin, a Belgian-based game distributer, Cromola, a Spanish business, and Proludo gmbh, a German company that the Asmodee Group its stake in. Asmodee Group is backed by Montefiore Investment, a French private equity firm.

Paris, January 16th 2009 – Asmodée Group, the leading distributor and publisher of
collectible cards and board games, accelerates its European development thanks to targeted
• Hodin, a leading player on the games distribution market in Belgium, with a turnover
of €10.2 million for the fiscal year 2007/2008;
• Cromola, a Spanish innovative company, well positioned on its fast growing market;
• Proludo gmbh, a German company in which Asmodée Group increased its stake to
control 100% of the company.

In December 2007, Montefiore Investment, an independent Private Equity firm with a focus
on the Locally Supplied Services (LSS) sector, became a 60% shareholder of Asmodée Group
through a growth LBO. Over the past year, Montefiore Investment has contributed to the
group development, in particular on international markets by identifying acquisition targets.
