Jobs of the Week: Fortress, Vista Equity, Blackstone, and JMC Capital are hiring

Fortress Investment Group is hiring a private equity analyst in New York to support the firm’s investments in the financial services sector. Duties include analyzing and executing investment strategies, developing financial models, and performing financial and operational due diligence. The candidate should have one to two years of experience as an analyst at a top investment bank.

Vista Equity Partners is recruiting analysts as part of its nationwide analyst program. There are three types of analyst positions. Transactions analysts will work with deal teams to help evaluate investment opportunities, research industry dynamics, and support the execution of deals. Portfolio management and operations analysts will help manage portfolio company reporting, oversight, and operations. Finally, internal firm operations analysts will identify and research investment opportunities and help raise investment capital. The position is a two to three year commitment. Rutgers University is seeking a director of investments to serve as the  senior investment professional at Rutgers. The director, who will be based in New Brunswick, New Jersey, will work under the general direction of the chairman of the investment committee and the vice president of finance with extensive latitude for initiative and independent judgment. The ideal candidate will have at least seven year of experience in investment management or financial services.

Blackstone is looking for a private equity associate in Hong Kong. The associate will perform valuation analyses of prospective investment opportunities, develop quantitative models to assess the economic performance of targeted companies, and oversee the execution of transactions. Applicants should have extensive exposure to private equity and M&A transactions as well as origination experience. He or she should be fluent in English and Mandarin.

JMC Capital Partners is looking for a senior financial analyst in Boston.  The analyst will support the deal team in reviewing new acquisition opportunities and providing analytical support for current platform investments. He or she will prepare financial models, assist in financial due diligence, and help draft investment committee materials. Private equity, investment banking or corporate finance experience is desired.

TZP Group is seeking a private equity associate in New York. Duties include developing financial models, conducting due diligence on prospective investments, drafting investment committee materials, term sheets and lender presentations, and helping with deal structuring and deal execution. Two years of investment banking experience is required. The role would start summer 2016.

BlackRock is hiring an analyst/associate in its US private capital group, which provides capital solutions to middle market companies through directly originated investments. The hire will focus on investment due diligence and portfolio company monitoring. Candidates should have over two years of investment banking or private equity experience.
