Krauter & Co. hired Phil Dixon to lead its West Coast mergers and acquisitions practice with a focus on private equity services on the West Coast. Dixon has worked for the past 12 years at Aon, where he was a managing director in the M&A Solutions business. Before, he co-founded Equity Risk Partners (now Hub International) in 2001.
Krauter & Company has expanded its insurance due diligence capabilities and capacity with the hiring of Phil Dixon to lead the West Coast M&A Practice in its San Francisco office. His primary focus will be the growth of Krauter’s private equity service offerings on the West Coast.
Phil has nearly 30 years of insurance experience, with the last 18 being focused exclusively on the private equity industry. He has worked on over 800 insurance diligence assignments in his career, including transactions of all sizes and industries across the country and around the world.
For the last 12 years, Phil was Managing Director in Aon’s M&A Solutions with responsibility for providing and coordinating insurance diligence services in the west for private equity clients and their portfolio companies. Prior to that, he was a co-founder of Equity Risk Partners (now Hub International) in 2001. Phil began his career as an insurance underwriter with Liberty Mutual before becoming an insurance broker with Sedgwick (Marsh) serving risk management clients.
