Webster Capital-owned Epic Health Services Inc. has acquired Care Resources, which provides pediatric services for special-needs children. Epic, based only in Texas when Webster first invested in it in 2010, now operates in 17 states.
Epic Health Services Inc., a portfolio company of Webster Capital and Dallas based provider of pediatric skilled nursing, therapy and enteral services, announced today that it has acquired Baltimore based Care Resources, which offers pediatric therapy and early intervention services for children with special needs, staffing of special education teachers and nurses to schools, and continuing education courses for health care professionals.
In 2016, Epic has already acquired four smaller players, allowing Epic to enter new markets and further solidify its position in existing markets. Epic CEO, Chris Roussos, remarked, “It is exciting to see the expansion into new markets as it provides significant opportunities for growth in the coming years. The business is now in 17 states and many of these are new for us, presenting interesting ways to grow.”
Webster Co-Managing Partner, David Malm, said, “Epic has done an outstanding job broadening its footprint while continuing to grow at double digit organic growth rates. We are thrilled with all management has done.”
Webster initially invested in Epic in 2010 when the business was solely based in Texas.
