Pyramid Healthcare, Inc., a portfolio company of Clearview Capital Fund II, bought Mazzitti & Sullivan Counseling Services, Inc. and Quest Services, Inc., two outpatient substance abuse treatment providers in Pennsylvania. These mark the company’s sixth and seventh add-on acquisitions since it was recapitalized in 2011.
Old Greenwich, CT, May 6, 2016— Clearview Capital Fund II, L.P. (“Fund II”) announced today that its portfolio company, Pyramid Healthcare, Inc. (“Pyramid” or the “Company”), has completed the acquisitions of Mazzitti & Sullivan Counseling Services, Inc. (“Mazzitti & Sullivan”) and Quest Services, Inc. (“Quest”), two providers of outpatient substance abuse treatment services across Central Pennsylvania. The transactions mark Pyramid’s sixth and seventh add-on acquisitions since Fund II recapitalized the Company with its founder and CEO, Jonathan Wolf, in 2011.
“Mazzitti & Sullivan and Quest both have outstanding reputations in Central Pennsylvania, and we welcome them to the Pyramid team,” said Jonathan Wolf. “With these acquisitions, Pyramid adds seven additional outpatient locations to its existing system of care, bringing our total number of outpatient locations to 40 across Pennsylvania alone.”
“Pyramid continues to play a lead role in consolidating the highly fragmented behavioral healthcare market in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and North Carolina,” said Matt Blevins, Principal of Clearview Capital. “As Pyramid continues to broaden and expand the depth of its service offerings, we believe the Company is viewed as a preferred acquirer by many local providers. In addition to continuously evaluating acquisitions within Pyramid’s existing footprint, we will selectively pursue opportunities to expand the Company into additional geographies.”
