Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Blackstone, GE Digital, Franklin Templeton are hiring

A weekly roundup of jobs in the private equity industry – from buyout shops to venture capital funds to investment banks.

Blackstone is recruiting an investment vice president for BAAM Ventures. The hire will be responsible for financial analysis and modeling, as well as negotiations with principals of potential partner firms. Vice presidents will work on a range of transactions including acquisitions of equity or preferred interests, seed and acceleration capital, and co-investments with hedge funds or other large institutions. Applicants should have four to ten years’ experience in private equity or a buy-side investment function. The position is located in New York.

GE Digital is seeking a senior associate, software investments, to assist team leaders on software industry research, originations, underwriting, and portfolio management. Duties include valuating portfolio companies and monitoring related venture activity. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of work experience in venture capital, strategy consulting, investment banking, or portfolio management. The position is located in San Ramon, California.

Franklin Templeton Investments is on the lookout for a vice president, Asia multi-manager private equity real estate. Duties include conducting due diligence on PE investment opportunities, monitoring investments and portfolios, and interacting with clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven to ten years of relevant Asia PE or real estate experience, as well as proficiency in an Asian language. The position is located in New York.

The International Finance Corporation, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, is searching for an investment analyst to join IFC’s Venture Capital. The hire will participate in negotiations and due diligence for prospective investments, analyze financial statements and prepare financial models, and help supervise investments in portfolio companies. Requirements include two to five years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity/venture capital, or business development with a technology company. The position is located in Washington, D.C.

Martin Ventures is looking to hire a venture capital/private equity associate to support senior investment professionals in analyzing and researching transactions. Considered candidates must have at least two to three years of investment banking, private equity, or corporate development experience; healthcare experience is a plus. The position is located in Nashville, Tennessee.
