Intel Capital led a $20 million Series C funding round in Lightbend, a reactive systems software company. Joining Intel Capital as a new investor was Blue Cloud Ventures. Previous investors Bain Capital Ventures, Polytech Ecosystem Ventures and Shasta Ventures also participated. Intel Capital’s director for enterprise software, Vibhor Rastogi, will join Lightbend’s board of directors.
