BlackRock is looking for an investment professional to join its Private Equity Partners team as an analyst or associate. Duties include participating in due diligence, evaluating and sourcing investment opportunities, and developing relationships with intermediaries and PE fund general partners. Applicants should have two to three years of relevant industry experience, technical skills in financial modeling (LBO/valuation/cash flow, etc.), and passion for and understanding of the private equity industry. The position is located in Princeton, New Jersey.

AlpInvest Partners is hiring an associate for its co-investments team. Responsibilities include reviewing investment opportunities, participating in due diligence, monitoring portfolio performance, and researching industry landscapes. The successful candidate will be a trained analyst or associate with a minimum of two years’ experience at an investment bank, PE firm, or similar setting. The position is located in New York.

Siemens AG is seeking an associate to join its venture capital arm, which invests in early- and growth-stage companies in the energy, healthcare, industrial, and infrastructure markets. The hire will work directly with senior partners to evaluate potential investments and support portfolio companies. Candidates should have significant interest in emerging technologies and being a part of the startup ecosystem. At least two years’ work experience is required, at a VC, with a top investment bank or a consulting firm, or at a startup. Knowledge of industrial software, some healthcare exposure, and a degree in engineering or the physical sciences are all desirable. The position is located in Boston.

Reed Smith LLP is in the market for a counsel/senior associate to join the firm’s M&A/private equity group. The hire will work with leading US sponsors and major corporate clients on complex, high-profile, cross-border and domestic deals. Successful candidates will have five to eight years of experience in private equity investments, public and private M&A, and fund formation work. Lorient Capital is on the hunt for a private equity analyst. The hire will be critical to each stage of the investment process, including deal sourcing, financial modeling, due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio monitoring.
